“feels like i’ve been here before“ marks max von der goltz’s first release as an ambient composer and producer.
utilizing analogue synthesis, field recordings, noise and percussion, a handful of pieces were selected for the first release under his own name.
the record is a very personal statement, full of vulnerability. it’s an attempt to express different states of mind, emphasizing those of struggle, self-doubt and fear, while simultaneously trying to find a way out of these emotions by offering a sonic environment for inner healing.
