Liniae, Arnica Montana, Tumy - Artefacts 00 - Cassette Tape

Step into the immersive world of Artefacts 00, an experimental sound piece preserved on analog tape. This project seamlessly intertwines music, poetry, and visual art to 'transcribe' elusive past experiences into tangible realities. Through this intricate work, you're invited to embark on a unique journey through time, exploring the convergence of auditory, literary, and visual elements.

Each experimental musical piece represents a distinctive item, narrated by a unique story crafted and romanticized through the poetic lens of Martin Duthey (Marseille, FR). In this collaboration, the compositions transcend mere sounds, transforming into evocative narratives that beckon the audience to immerse themselves in the poetic storytelling woven into each piece.

The music is composed by sound artists Arnica Montana (Nice, FR), Tumy (Nice, FR), and Liniae (Berlin, DE). On the flip side of the tape, the retranscription of an installation, presented at an exhibition in Berlin, DE in 2021, is envisioned by artist Naomi Cassim (Berlin, DE) and woven by Luca Fonty (Paris, FR). A sound artist skillfully blends the three pieces together on side B, symbolizing the convergence of these three singular items.

Finally, the experiences were interpreted by the vision of Cecilia Murgia (Berlin, DE), a visual artist, to give the colors and display of this world, completing the sensory exploration of Artefacts 00.
