Plant Behaviour Prints - Plant Ink Prints by Lucila Kenny

Note: Each print is different, if you order online you will receive a surprise! Each print has been printed with a combination of different colors made from plant based ink such as saffron, walnut, indigo, chorella or currants.
If you come to the bookstore you can have a look at all of them!

Plant Behaviour 
Mapping a place in ​Lucila's practice represents: ​the walks, encounters, observations, experiments, ​she tr​ies to create a bond with a place and feel part of it for a while. ​Lucila observe​s the seasonal nature and its natural growth and exchange​s; ​there's a deep learning ​from this connection.
Using remains of natural material from the previous seasons to investigate and find those hidden colours ​producing ink would be a way of tracing the dialogues between ​her and the ​surrounding.

The inks are then used to draw dream landscapes/maps.
