As the log lay motionless, the activity of the past 24 hours was replayed in inertia. The tool marks, falling into the tree from thrown shoulders and a chunk of rock, were suddenly rigid, rehashing each moment in stillness. ‘Lost Rocks (2017–21)’ is an ambitious, slow-publishing artwork – a library of forty three books, by forty six artists over five years.
