जुगाड़ (jugaad) is a Hindi term that denotes a way of solving problems with finite resources. Drawing inspiration from this uniquely improvisatory approach to life, Re-Semblance embodies the spirit of anti-perfectionism in all its flawed beauty - the unaffected sketch rather than the finished painting, rough textures rather than gleaming surfaces – and celebrates the process whereby different, often contradictory, worlds come together - not unlike the work of Ellsworth Kelly and Andy Goldsworthy. It is an album forged from sonic snapshots, foraged sounds, and spontaneous musical impulses. Re-Semblance was assembled remotely and collaboratively by Nishad Pandey and Dhani Muniz, across many thousands of miles of land and sea.
