An artist’s book and manifesto, about deep depths landscapes, ruins and underwater utopias.
* Quentin Germain works on inaccessible landscapes. With this experimental series of artificial reefs to be submerged beneath the French coastline, Les Sanctuaires is a dialogue between land and sea, as much as a reflection on time.
* The monument, discreetly signaled by a buoy floating offshore, would be made up of an assembly of steel and openwork concrete blocks that the public is invited to imagine before entering in the dark.
* This contemplative, introspective project, which is available in several locations, is an invitation to take care of nature.
The book is a bilingual edition (French / English)
The format is 18 x 26 cm, protected by an embossed cover.
Each copy is numbered and has 9 separate color off-prints, reproducing some watercolors.
