In 2020, Soil-To-Soil Meal were gatherings hosted digitally and in person where Aru of The Millet Kitchen offered some recipes. The invited guests all cooked those recipes together and exchanged ideas around food and intersectional social conditions around it. The events were hosted with Collective Practices, a project of Berlin's Acud Macht Neu!
This here is the publication of the recipes and composting methods, along with an amazing center fold with an illustration by Minor Grace.

Soil-to-Soil grows from the idea that healthy soil is the basis for a healthy planet. This mode of consumption includes habits that cause no harm to the environment and in fact help in processes of regeneration. Food production has a huge impact on the environment. [...] By continuing to develop aware-ness as consumers, establishing sustained relationships with ethical sources and keeping in mind the carbon footprint of the product. At The Millet Kitchen we take utmost care to put these guidelines into practice. All the raw materials are sourced from small producers. The raw materials used are selected by taking into account their ease of growing and impact on the soil.
