Mercedes Villalba's Fervent Manifesto defines the current moment as a time of resistance. Villalba uses nature's example of resistance as an inspiration for our own resistance. Looking at fermentation and fungi, examples of how every surface "teems with life and time", she admires nature's refusal to stand still. Villalba invites us to cultivate the future, to imagine other modes of production and relationships, to disarticulate and dismantle our capitalist logics and modes of perception.
